What is your style?

• First of all, we aren't huge fans of the posed shots, so expect a relaxed and more candid look. Our favorite images on just about every shoot tend to be those "perfectly flawed' shots. We love being able to control the light in our photography, but shoot a combination of flash and natural light. We strive to give you "clean" images; we work to get the shot perfect in camera and we don't get too caught up in the latest editing trends. We want you to look at your images 20 years from now and say, "I still love this picture." Will we do some current and trendy editing? Absolutely, but the bulk of your images will be clean, in full color, straight, and all about YOU.

What equipment do you use?

• We are Canon shooters and all of our editing is done on a PC (yes, we said PC... we first learned Adobe software like Photoshop, Premiere, etc. before it was offered for Mac users. We're that old). We have back up equipment that we carry on every shoot and we archive your images on separate hard drives, just to be safe. 

Who picks the location for our portraits?

• We like to work with you on that one. If you have places in mind we're completely up for it (be thinking about places that mean something to you; things you like to do together, first dates, where the proposal took place, etc.). But we also won't leave you to make the decisions alone, and most of the time we come up with something together. For your wedding, we try to visit your venues ahead of time to get ideas of the layout, etc. and will work within your timeline to use the location to its fullest.

How much do you charge?

• We have collections to start things off and give you some options to consider. But we have learned that every wedding, every couple, every detail is completely unique. Your wedding could be a huge all-day celebration, or it could be an intimate ceremony with just the two of you. What we would love to do is find a time to get us all together - get to know the two of you, find out the details of your day, and come up with the perfect plan for you. 

What's included in your wedding collections?

• Every option we offer includes an engagement session (because it's a great opportunity for all of us to get to know each other better), two shooters on your wedding day, edits and touch-ups, a keepsake album of your day and hi-definition files. Of course, we'd love to customize something to fit your ideas perfectly.

Why should we hire you?

• One thing we hear from clients over and over again (and are thankful to hear) is that we're so easy to work with. We don't get worked up over time constraints, high-maintenance family members, venue rules, etc. Our intention is always to assist in making things go smoothly for you. We help with timelines, we talk details and shots ahead of time, we help pin boutonnieres, bustle dresses, light candles, and take phone pics for guests. Do we have a signature look to our images? We believe so - but we work just as hard to give you (and your guests) a great experience with us.
